PLASTIC BOTTLES = TROUBLE FOR THE WORLD!

People around the world drink water from plastic bottles.  All those plastic bottles use a lot of fossil fuels and pollute the environment. 

Did you know Americans buy the most bottled water than any other nation? Imagine filling up a water bottle with oil...that's how much oil it takes to make it! We should all try drinking tap water or water out of steel bottles.  So spread the word, you can make a 

difference! REMEMBER - recycling one bottle can save enough energy to power a 60 watt light bulb for six hours!!

NEW YEARS!

On New Year's day  - everyone celebrated with confetti and parties! But, January 1, 2013 was another important day! It was the 150th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation.  Issued by President Lincoln, this is what set the United States on the path to ending slavery!
